So I don't post to xanga anymore really at all.  I don't really blog period but I seem to have found this new fascination with blogspot.com.  It's http://www.themysteryunveiled.blogspot.com . Go there for more up to date stuff.

so I'm coming back to Indy for a couple weeks...

I just got a new job working for the Indiana Department of Child Services as a Family Case Manager and I have to attend a two-week orientation/training at the central offices in Indy, so it should be cool to get back.  I'm going to have to find time for Yats at some point

I have to make a plug here for my wife and her new business... It's a really awesome ministry opportunity for her along with her teaching.  If anybody has a baby shower or bridal shower or other family-oriented occasion coming up, I would strongly recommend at least browsing through my wife's website.  It's http://www.onceuponafamily.com/rachelw .  The company (Once Upon A Family) is all about valuing and strengthening family relationships.  They have a whole bunch of neat stuff for all sorts of occasions.

On a similar note, Rachel and I have thought about possibly purchasing the Leather Family Album.  It's a really nice, big photo album that you are supposed to get out every New Year's and put on one page a collage of the family's photos of the previous year.  We really look forward to doing this ourselves but we also thought how cool it would be to have an album for the Indy Mac church plant and how our church family has grown and changed since the inception of Vecino's to now and looking ahead to the future (like an actual church building, etc.)  Rachel thought it would be a neat craft idea for girls' night, but I don't think the guys would go along with the girls having all the say.

Anyway, I did NOT want to get up and go to work today.  I am hoping and praying to have a new job soon, one definitely closer than my current commute.

Ummm... I think that's all for now...

I want to play PAINTBALL!!!

I have this pent up aggression from dealing with these kids that I just need to go out and run around shooting people... with paint...

Ummm... Yeah...

Oh WOW...

So it's been like almost a year since I wrote on this thing and a lot has happened since then... Let us begin with the most important life-forever-altered event:  getting married to my beautiful wife Rachel on July 17th.    I couldn't describe our life together as anything less than an adventure...

Alas... I don't feel like writing (nor do I think you would like to read) a novel tonight, so it will have to wait.

Anyway... life is fairly boring at the moment... I still live on the northeast side of Indianapolis and commute five days a week back and forth to Muncie to work at the Youth Opportunity Center.  It's frustrating and challenging but rewarding line of work.  I'm looking for something similar in Indy but have not yet had any leads pan out.  Rachel is finishing up her student teaching at Broad Ripple in Indy and will graduate in May.  We are a part of the Indy MAC church plant, a wonderful community that I (shy as I am) am just now getting to know all the cool people there.  It's awesome.

Alas (again)... major life update... check...

Much more to come at some future date less than a year from now (as certainly Rachel will make me type again within the week)...

But now it is time for bed...
